Quality Control Disaster Recovery (QCDR)

QCDRQCDR is a web based, quality control tool that streamlines project management activities. QCDR includes full reporting functionality and allows real-time access to project status. QCDR can be adapted for hand-held computers and smart phones and supports satellite imagery. QCDR is includes four independent components based upon the stages of disaster recovery: preparation, response, relief and restoration. QCDR is further structured into four component modules: Introduction and Training Module, Program Manager Module (Government), QA/QC Team Module (Government or QC Contractor) and Contractor Module. QCDR is designed as a Smart Interface; the modular system only allows access to the necessary module based on the users’ classification and restricts access based on authentication at login.

Applied Research Evaluation Tool (AReT)

AReTThe Applied Research Evaluation Tool (AReT) is a computer-based tool that evaluates breadth and depth of application for a technology or research project that has been federally funded. AReT performs an electronic search of research applications, technologies and/or products that have resulted from each research query. Initial focus is on SBIR and STTR projects as these reporting formats provide information on research that can support AreT’s search and quantification algorithm. The result is an objective and repeatable measure of the research utility and usefulness as determined by the number of applications. Expert participation capability can be utilized in AReT and then used to supplement, compare or evaluate results; this ensures creating distributed systems of humans and software agents that work cooperatively to perform research and several militarily relevant tasks.
